Introduction

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Government Post Graduate College Khatima was established on August 1988. The college is located in a tribal belt of Udham Singh Nagar Uttaranchal. It offers degree courses in Science as well as in humanities. P.G. courses are  being offered in five streams of science namely Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Maths. In Humanities Post Graduate courses are being run in Economics, Political Science, History, English and Hindi. Total strength of the college is touching 4000 mark.

 

The college has its own building and recently a new blocks has been constructed to run a professional course i.e Yoga. The college also possesses a large play-ground, a multipurpose hall and indoor facilities for various activities. It also has a rich library which caters to the need of large number of students.
